I’m Aya Bouaddi, born and raised in Amsterdam.
I’m currently a third-year Fashion & Branding student at AMFI,
and following the minor  Visual Culture.

Over the past few years, I’ve discovered a deep love for creating visuals
that feel cinematic. I’m fascinated by the way visuals can tell a story,

carry symbolic meaning, and capture a mood, not just look beautiful.
I enjoy experimenting with film-inspired techniques, playing with light, color,
and composition to create visuals that feel timeless,
whether they could have been made today or decades ago.

Before focusing on creating visuals, I spent over 10 years as a digital illustrator,
which gave me a strong foundation in color theory, composition,
and visual storytelling. This background informs the way
I approach fashion, branding, and narrative-driven visuals today.

I’m drawn to work that’s bold, experimental, and narrative-driven  sometimes
even a little strange. I love exploring personal and cinematic themes in my projects,
embracing creative freedom, and pushing boundaries in both concept and execution.
Every project is an opportunity to translate my personal taste into a visual story,
and I aim to create visuals that are authentic, and memorable.

I'm eager to keep creating and learn more everyday.
